The owners of Hitchcocks Business Park have paid tribute to one of their former key members of staff who died from pancreatic cancer – by naming a road in his honour.

Anthony’s Way has been named after Tony Nockolds, who sadly died in 2018.

Richard Persey, owner of Hitchcocks Business Park, said: “Tony was like a brother to me and a very special part of the team here at Hitchcocks. He was very liked and well known locally and worked with us as farm manager when this was a family farm. When we decided to sell the dairy herd and build the business park he was instrumental in helping us develop it and the vision we had for the park as it is today.

“We were deeply saddened by Tony’s death and wanted to do something that would be a permanent reminder of what he did here at Hitchcocks and what he meant to all of us, so we decided to name Anthony’s Way in his honour.”
